Did you know in Australia Cancer is the largest killer of children? On average 3 children die every week to the disease and over 600 young Australians are diagnosed with cancer each year.

EBS were riding to give young Australian children the brighter future they deserve. All funds raised will support Children’s Medical Research Institute to continue their work to develop treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer. A total of 11,136 riders participated in the Great Cycle Challenge, collectively riding 2,148,642 km and raised a total of $3,090,665 since we last checked.

A stella effort from Paul Woods and Jono Martin considering the month of October was filled with a combination of overseas work trips and recreational holidays. An outstanding performance from Jono pedalling 500km’s and raising $700 and Paul with 308.4 km’s ridden, raising $3,000, nationally ranking 95th and state ranking 17th with a first place podium finish for the EBS team.
